How we classify factual claims
- Verified: directly supported by an approved source
- Attributed: clearly stated as the provider’s claim
- Inference: conclusion explained from multiple facts
- Unverified: not publishable as fact
- Expired: removed or rechecked before publication
Claims we do not publish
- Invented prices, speeds, reviews, SLAs or case-study results
- Address-level availability claims based only on a national licence
- Claims that an installer is authorized without documentary proof
- Search snippets used in place of an available primary source
- Comparison tables that mix unlike contracts or plan categories
Sources and check dates on every core page
Every core page shows the source title, publisher, claim supported and last checked date. A page with a stale volatile fact should keep the explanation but remove or qualify the number until rechecked.
